Top 3 New Year’s Marketing Resolutions

1. Use your social networking power.
Increase the time you allocate to networking by just a few minutes each week and try new avenues to communicate your news and insights. While you can post or tweet all you want, be confident that you have a following, and most importantly, timely and relevant info to share. Try including a call to action with your next posting.

2. Build better relationships with your existing clients.
As a general rule, it’s less costly (and frankly more gratifying) to keep your existing customers than it is to find new ones. Nurturing existing client relationships can be easier than you think. Remember to consistently find ways to bring value to the relationship. Solve a problem or deliver a specialized service. And above all, communicate your interest in a long-term partnership.

3. Embrace media relations.
Utilize the media to share your expertise, tell your story or serve your industry. A good PR plan and solid media relationships will go a long way toward generating exposure for your brand and positioning you or your company as an industry leader.
